Pop fans are in a panic following reports that Harry Styles will not be joining his One Direction bandmates at the Brit Awards tonight.
Long-haired Harry from Holmes Chapel will reportedly miss tonight’s award ceremony with blonde-haired bandmate Niall Horan.
According to reports the pair are unable to make the star-studded ceremony at London’s The O2.
But the rest of One Direction - Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson - will be making an appearance to present an award.
They are also hoping to pick up the British Artist Video gong for their single Drag Me Down. And the band is also up for best British Group facing Coldplay, Blur, Foals and Years and Years as their competition.
The pop heartthrobs , who are on an expected two-year hiatus as they take some time off from being 1D, won’t be enjoying a 1D reunion at the event which has upset some of their loyal fans excited at the idea of seeing them together again.
One disappointed Directioner tweeted: “Brit awards tonight can’t wait I just wish @Harry_Styles and @NiallOfficial will be there with their band mates #BRITDRAGEMEDOWN.”
Another pleaded: “Pls attend BRIT awards, i need to see you together cause i cANT BREATHE.”
And another fan expressed excitement that Liam and Louis could be in the same room again as their former bandmate Zayn Malik, who recently released his first solo single Pillowtalk.
They said: “Brit Awards. One Direction will gonna be there. Zayn will gonna be there. buckle up ur seatbelts fam.”
It is believed that bosses offered the Story Of My Life hitmakers the chance to perform at the ceremony in a bid to reunite them.
