A Son Will Pay for Jax’s Deception – Sons of Anarchy – Season 7 Episode 7 – “Greensleeves”

Last week saw Juice’s time on the run come to an end as the Sons make a deal with the Mayans in order to acquire Juice back.  Now the question is, will this be the beginning of the end for Gemma? Juice knows she is the one who killed Tara. Will he tell Jax the truth to save his own life? Let’s find out…

This week we start with a confrontation on the side of the road – Jax and Juice, in the spot where Jax’s father died. Juice apologizes to Jax and Jax hands him his cut. Juice gets on his bike and heads off. The rest of the Sons pay their respect to J.T.

Wendy talks to Gemma about her concerns with Abel. She thinks he is becoming more distant. Wendy also notices that Gemma doesn’t seem herself and asks her what is wrong. Gemma tells her that the Sons have Juice.

Juice pulls up to where some cops are sitting on their bikes and shoots at them, then takes off. The cops pursue him.

Jax and the Sons show up at Red Woody where Unser wants to speak with Jax. He tells her the female cop is awake and that she told him who was there when they were ambushed.  Unser assures Jax that she is not planning on talking and Jax gives Unser his word that nothing will happen to her. Unser asks Jax about Juice and Jax tells him that he is still missing.

Meanwhile Juice is still running from the cops when he is finally stopped. Ratboy is watching from behind the officers.  Juice places his hands on his head and is arrested. Ratboy reports back to Tig that Juice is in custody. It seems the plan is to use Juice to kill Lin on the inside and if he doesn’t then Tully will kill Juice. The Sons discuss their next target, August Marks. Jax tells the Sons that this is not their normal street beef and going after Marks could endanger a lot for them, including their families. Jax expresses how much they and their loyalty mean to him. They have allowed him to bring this vengeance to their table and they have supported him every step of the way.

Unser lets Jax know about Juice being arrested. The Sons play it off as they don’t know anything about it, but Unser can tell something seems off. At the garage Nero shows up to see Gemma.  He tells her it is time for him to make a decision about what is next.  He has talked to his Uncle and he is going to buy his farm, take his son, and live out the rest of his days. He will sell his stake in Diosa to Jax. He wants Gemma to come with him, but she tells him she can’t right now. He asks her to think about it before she says no. How heartbreaking to see Nero so emotional.

Unser comes up and tells Gemma about Juice being arrested. Unser tells her he could tell that the Sons already knew he had been picked up. Gemma apologizes to Unser and tells him not to leave, so I guess Unser can keep his trailer parked.

The Sons meet up with Latricia and her son at the church. Jax explains that they need their help and in return they can help them. Jax tells Latricia that Marks killed her husband. Jax explains that he needs a statement from her saying that Marks threatened them into signing that paperwork, but there is a problem.

Latricia’s son tells Jax that one of his step father’s suppliers have been blackmailing them with pictures of his father with young boys and his mother is in the background. Jax tells them that the Sons will handle their blackmail problem if they help them with Marks. Jax also offers to help her get completely clean in the process by offering Gemma as a resource.

Jax meets up with Nero to try to find this dealer, Adam Greenblatt, aka Greensleeves, that is blackmailing Latricia.  Nero can help them find the guy, but once he does, he needs some time with Jax.

Juice has been put in isolation and he is not sure why he hasn’t been put in gen pop.

Nero takes the Sons over to where a Hummer is parked and Nero tells them that is the guy. We can tell by the way he is treating one of his girls, that he is a real piece of work. The Sons roll up on the guy and break up his conversation.  When he tells the Sons to back off, the girls jump on Jax and Chibs, and the guy jumps in his Hummer and takes off, almost hitting Nero in the process. Nero offers the girl a job at Diosa in exchange for information on where “Greensleeves” is at. She takes the deal.

Jax and Chibs break in on Adam, and after a shot in his arm Adam is more than willing to give them what they want. Jax seals the deal by shoving him through a window and leaving him with a piece of glass in his stomach. I guess this guy won’t have to worry about blackmailing anyone anymore.

After leaving Greensleeves’s place, Nero and Jax have that talk Nero wanted.  Nero tells Jax that he wants him to buy him out of Diosa. Jax is not thrilled to hear this, ut he gets it.

Bobby and Tig break into one of Mark’s construction sites in order to plan the pastor’s body. Ratboy and Happy tell Gemma she needs to come with them to the cabin, and for someone who thinks she may be in deep trouble, this news sounds like it could be the end. She tells them that she has to pick up a few things from her house first. Unser shows up as Gemma is leaving and he wonders if something is wrong, but doesn’t say anything. Once Gemma gets home, she packs a gun as she looks on at baby Thomas.

Jax meets up with Tyler and shows him the signed statement and explains the plan moving forward. Tyler’s job now is to show the statement to Marks.

Wendy shows up at Gemma’s with Abel, because he got sent home after getting into a shoving match with another kid at school. An upset and highly emotional Gemma is in her room loving on baby Thomas and confessing to him about killing his mother and why she did it. Little does she know, but Abel is listening at the door. Oh, that was just insanely creepy, especially the look on Abel’s face!

Wendy comes into Gemma’s room and asks Gemma why she is going to the cabin and Gemma tells her because Jax wants her there. Wendy tries to assure Gemma that Jax won’t hurt her, but Gemma is not so sure. She tells Wendy to have Nero come to the cabin.

Nero is at Diosa talking to the Mayans about selling his piece of Diosa to them. The Mayans tell him they will think about it. He gets the call from Wendy after the Mayans leave and rushes out.

Unser finds Jax and tells him that he got a call from Wendy saying that Gemma was going to the cabin and she was highly upset about it. The Sons seem to think Happy must have something to her.  Bobby offers to go up to the cabin and check on Gemma. Tig gets the call from Tyler that Marks will be at the meet location.

Happy and Ratboy get Gemma to the cabin and she is told to go to the bedroom. She walks into the bedroom to find, Latricia and her son.  She asks Ratboy what is going on and he tells her that this is why she is here. Gemma realizes that she made a huge mistake.

Jax and the Mayans are on their way to meet Marks.  Bobby is on his way to the cabin when he is run off the road by Marks and his men. This is not going to be good.

Jax and the Mayans are at the meet location but Marks has not shown up. Wendy is checking in on Abel, who we think is asleep, but he isn’t. This child is really starting to freak me out.

Juice inherits a cellmate in jail, and the guy is a friend of Tully’s. Nero shows up at the cabin looking for Gemma and is relieved when he realizes she is okay.

Back at the meet, two of Mark’s guys show up and they give the Sons a package and leave. Jax opens the package and sees the “Redwood” and “Originals” tags off of a SAMCRO cut. There is also a tablet that shows the Sons one of their own, Bobby, being tortured as his eye is cut out of his face. Along with the tablet is a small container, that when Jax opens it, holds Bobby’s eye.

Watching the Sons receive this horrific package is heartbreaking and you can see how upset they are, but I know one thing.  I would not want to be August Marks, not one bit.
