Approx. 200 animated made-for-TV movies are being created and produced by DHX Media and Sony Pictures Television, along with multiple animation studios; these include 160 just original movies and 40 movies from licensed properties. Don't forget, approx. 40 of the 200 movies are being spun-off to full TV shows in the same styles, approx. 8 per year for 5 years: 2017-2021; the following are 8 licensed properties like Inspector Gadget and The PowerPuff Girls, and another 32 original properties. "Teletoon Canada" and numerous Cartoon Networks worldwide will be among the other TV channels to air Canada's "Teletoon Cinema" (also known in most parts of the world as "Hub Network Original Movie Toons"); "DHX Media" and "Sony Pictures Television" are producing these 200 animated made-for-TV movies (including 40 licensed properties such as those of "Inspector Gadget" and "The PowerPuff Girls", and over 160 that are just-original movies); plus 40 of these will be adapted into full TV shows in either 3 or 5 seasons (approx. 90 or 150 episodes).
