I'm writing a review of the film logan for a local magazine. I was wondering if I could get some peoples views on the film logan to quote in the article. Anyone who responds will likely be featured in the article and I can send you a link to the article once it is published. Just any thoughts on whether the film was a fitting final entry for the character and how it stacks up against other X-Men films would be much appreciated. Thanks guys. The poll for Week 9 has been posted. The category is "X-Men: Evolution" title sequence characters. Check out the poll [linked below] to vote for your favorite character and check out the forum post for more information.
It finally happened! I have my own computer for the first time in over a year. Why does this matter? It means that "X-Man of the Week" will be starting up again!
I really just want to see if any of you have any thoughts here. Do you have any suggestions for a theme for the first new week? Should we let the seven past winners back in? Do you even plan to vote?
For those of you still here on this rather desolate site, I just wanted to ask a favor of you. With the release of Logan, there are going to be those who wish to discuss it or post spoiler laced material. I'm not asking you NOT to post it here (as that is what this site is for, sharing content), but rather to be fair to those who can't see it right away (like myself :D ) and label it with a warning for the next two weeks.
Thank you all in advance. Much love!

This site is NOT spoiler free! Be cautious as you continue on, and if you are looking to post spoilers, just be mindful that not everyone has seen the film. I usually recommend a week of time after the movie's premiere before posting spoilers, :D
Also, there is a new commercial/tv spot out (which has not been posted to the site yet). It contains MAJOR plot spoilers for the film. If you haven't seen it yet, again, be careful.
Other than that, have a great weekend!

The first winner of "X-Man of the Week" is Scott Summers -- Cyclops. Please enjoy this week dedicated to him.
A quick reminder! Please ensure that everything you add this week hasn't previously been added. This is easy for things like links and videos, which will tell you they've been added, but not necessarily easy for things like quizzes and images, both of which have been filled with Cyclops before on the previous "Mutant of the Week". Once again, any duplicates will be reported

This movie is so awesome, every second was literally breathe taking and it was beautiful, I loved some dialogues and the small small beautiful scenes and how perfectly it was made. It's best movie to watch in 3D and worth giving a shot.

I would just like to remind the few people still on this spot, to refrain from posting spoilers, unreleased images, or items otherwise related to 'X-men: Apocalypse'. As many of you know, it has been released in several countries, but still remains unreleased until the official May 27th premiere date. It isn't fair to the others here to ruin the experience for them. It's obviously not a demand, just a request for common courtesy.

A new comic store has opened near my house. I've never been to a comic store before, there aren't many (*cough* any *cough*) near my house that would be easy to get to [Grand Rapids is an unspoken no-no]. I was in HEAVEN. I have never been to such a great place before. Have any of you experienced the same?

I work as a cashier at a grocery store, and since it's summer, there's lots of moms coming in with their children. There was this one mom who was pushing the cart with her little boy in it and her little girl comes running around to the other side of my lane and asks for a sucker (we give them out). I went to hand it to her and actually stopped, shocked, and then laughed a bit before I assured her I wasn't laughing at her. The little girl had brown hair with stark white bangs.

Watched both "First Class" and "Days Of Future Past" twelve to ten days ago and still can't get the two movies out of my head. I know I've always loved the X-Men ever since X-Men Evolution but seeing the beginning of how Erik Lehnsherr became Magneto and Charles Xavier became Professor X, was just mind blowing to me. For the first time ever I actually love a villain. Prop up to everyone on the production and especially Michael Fassbender for portraying Erik/Magneto so well.

Loved X- Men days of future past! To me it was the best of all of the X- men's. The storyline was very complex and detailed, graphic effects were amazing . The acting was great ( I love Jennifier as Mystique) and the others were fantastic as well. I highly recommend this movie!

Days Of Future Past was a fantastic X-Men chapter. Bryan Singer once again proves him as The Man when it comes to this franchise and I certainly wish him the best with any future films.

I was at Hot Topic (which I hate but it had Doctor Who shirts) and I noticed some boxes on the counter with little Deadpool keychains. I made my normal comment of there isn't enough Cable and Deadpool things and I expected the normal blank look. Instead the cashier agreed with me and said Cable was his favorite superhero. Of course we had a little conversation about Nate in Marvel Now and even though it wasn't that long of a conversation it still made my day a little better.

That is so awesome! It's always nice to meet a fellow True Believers out of nowhere. I was sitting in the secretary of state office waiting to get my state i.d. when some guy, who had been looking at me like he wanted to say something for a bit, turned and told me he liked my shirt and that he preferred that look of Beast much better than the cat look he has now. He looked terrified like I had no idea what he was talking about, but I just smiled and we got into this huge conversation about it with my mother groaning beside me. Needless to say, it made the three hour wait much shorter. :)over a year ago
A month or so ago I was at the salon that my cousin works at while my grandma was getting a haircut and I brought some comics to pass the time. This lady came in with what I assume to be her mother and dropped her off and then left, glancing at me every couple minutes. Well when she came back I was trying to hide behind my comics because it was kind of creepy when she finally decided to talk to me. She told me about her son and how he loved comics and then she started talking about how he has a severe problem with seizures and he’d be going through a treatment soon that would require him to be hooked up to an EGG and sleep deprived for a couple days with his only real entertainment being comics.over a year ago
. I was able to understand her and talk intelligently about the subject purely because I’ve had a seizure and have had to do tests for it but it really made me think about how much comfort comics can bring you. Comics are what will keep this guy company while he does medical tests and keep his mind off his illness. Comics also are what caused the lady to talk to me and hopefully get a small bit of relief from the stress of the matter by talking to me about it. Just a very odd thing but I found it touching in a way.over a year ago
That's why it drives me crazy when people are so negative toward people who read comics, thinking it an unintelligent hobby. There is so much kindness people can find within the confines of the comics, whether it be with other fans or the comics themselves. As I've said before, X-men saved me from committing suicide because it gave me a release and people I could talk to who would understand. I hope those tests went well for her son, too.over a year ago
I’m glad comics were there to save you because I’d be so sad if I couldn’t talk to you about comics. I mean ranting at non readers will only get you so far. Yeah no form of media should be immediately written off because it can have such an impact on people. That’s why people got so annoyed when Roger Ebert (God rest his soul I certainly miss him) said video games weren’t art because you can’t just write off a whole medium like that. There’s good and bad to everything and smart and dumb too.over a year ago
LLLOOOOOVVVVVEEEEEE the X-men and the Wolverine movie, or is that the same thing? No, I don't think so but anyway, I wish I could be in the that movie, date Logan, or at least have something to do personally with the X-men!!! If only they were real, which is no the case. I am going to go to my room and cry, but I will have to ask somebody to drive me home, then I'll do it, wait!! No, I'm going to man up and live with reality!!! Not fair, but has to happen, WHY!!!! I love you Logan!!!!!
Posted over a year ago
I think a lot of fans can relate. Who wouldn't give their right arm to join the X-Men and kick Apocalypse's ass? Though of course not everyone's personal obsession is Logan but there are many. I'm more of a Cable person myself and I swear if they have Logan leading X-Force in the movie I shall rip his adamanium skeleton out through his ass and then beat the script writer and director with it!over a year ago
I wonder if Jackman will return after Days of Future Past. He's said that he only continues to play the character when there is good reason and modivation to do so and he might be quiting soon. How will we handle a world with Jugh as Logan?over a year ago
As much as I love Hugh as Logan, and I do, I think it's time that people begin to realize, much like the rest of us comic readers and such did long ago, that the X-men are not built around a few popular characters and that these characters they "don't like" have good points too if you just give them a chance. I could see Hugh coming back for a small part here and there, but I think if this franchise is going to continue carrying the X-men name, then it really needs to start being about the X-men and not one X-man which is what I believe Singer is starting to realize.over a year ago

Last week I found myself wandering a large antique store where I kept finding small collections of comics but it was mostly old Fantastic Four stuff so I didn't think I'd buy anything. That is until I came upon this random bench that had about five comics sitting on top of it and what should I spy there? None other than Wolverine #100 an issue which I have been seeking out for quite some time now. Well I snatched it right up and bought it even if I think $5 was a little pricey. Totally worth it
