Why are DE fans upset? Nina said something nice abour Damon too. She said he awakens her excitement. I think that's beautiful as well. She said nice things about Stefan & Damon. In a way, I don't get why they're upset. I mean, is this really a big shock? Since season 1, it's been confirmed that Elena has a deeper connection with Stefan. She cares for Damon but she's madly in love with Stefan. Of course DE'rs love their ship ( as we do) but they can't keep ignoring the facts. Damon has a shot but Stefan is the man she continues to choose & express her love for. over a year ago

^They're upset that she said that "Stefan feeds her soul". Which I think is ridiculous. You don't see us causing a big fuss over her saying that "Damon awaken's Elena's excitement". I will never deny the connection that DE has. I know that there is a connection. I know that Damon loves Elena. And I know that Elena loves Damon. I just don't think she loves him like she loves Stefan, or that she ever will. She loves Damon but she's IN love with Stefan. That's how I've always thought of it. But yeah, I don't understand why their upset, either. The thing about *some* DE shippers is that they choose to ignore ANY connection between SE. Whereas I realize that Elena loves them both. But I guess they're just upset that she said that about Stefan. Because "Damon feeds her soul more than Stefan does!!" apparently... over a year ago

@ HHR08 lol you are so right. I don't deny delena's attraction or bond. I know she cares for Damon but like u said, her bond & love for Stefan has always been stronger. I guess I just don't seewhy they're surprised. It's been a factor for three full seasons how much she loves Stefan. We'll continue to get SE & DE scenes till the show ends....no matter who u ship, at this point, we all have to deal w/ that lol. over a year ago

^My point exactly. I don't understand why ANYONE is surprised anymore that she chose Stefan or that she has feelings for Damon. This triangle has been going on since season 1 and I'm sure they will continue it until the end because if they made a definite choice, they would lose a ton of viewers from the opposing ship. over a year ago

Yes!!!! I always knew my girl Nina was a SE fan. She said she was during a season 2 interview. Almost the whole TVD cast is team SE. I just hope the writers are too! over a year ago

Wow, I can't picture Stefan with any other girl....but who knows, it could be a good thing. Maybe Stefan will interact with another girl & it'll make Elena jealous! How cool would that be? Think about it. Stefan has to deal with Elena's feelings for Damon so it's about time Elena knows what it feels like..to have someone you love develop feelings for someone else. Maybe watching him with someone else will make her realize she doesn't wanna lose Stefan. Maybe it'll make her APPRECIATE him even more. I have afeeling SE will be ok when it's all said & done. This is just another obstacle they have to face. They're good at going through things but coming back to each other. They have true luv! I think it's time for Elena to get jealous she always gets jealous of Damon so i think watching Stefan and Caroline's friendship grow make her realize what Stefan had to go through with her and Damon? And hopefully know she can't lose Stefan to another woman ? Plus i don't think Stefan would cheat on Elena over a year ago

I couldn't even picture Stefan with anybody else... I couldn't see him doing that to Elena unless SHE chose Damon once and for all and he KNEW it was forever over. I'm sure this is just talking about the Steroline friendship.... Hopefully :) over a year ago

I could see them dragging the triangle out longer and maybe even her choosing neither but I can't see her choosing Matt. They have gotten closer but I don't think she would sacrifice her love for the Salvatore brothers to be with Matt... I don't think she loves him that much. over a year ago

If Stefan compels Elena to be with Damon, it will make the DE fans happy but it will also ruin the ship, because knowing Elena was going to choose Stefan but suddenly he compels her to be with the one she didn't chose, it's sad because it just doesn't make sence. And don't be so negative about the part of "at this point in her life", yes it scares us a bit because it might not be her entire choice but just be positive, god! over a year ago

Wait, but theres no need to be negative!! Even if all the signs point against them, being Stelena shippers, we should always root for them!! i have to agree with ^... Stefan just wouldnt be Stefan if he made the choice for Elena to be with Damon. He would want her to be happy and if that meant being with him, then he would want that for her. As of now, everything is speculation... so no one can be sure what will happen. But i still have hope for Stelena... Elena and Damon just wouldnt make sense, IMO. but i do think IF Stefan did leave and let them be together, that would just prove even more what a good person he is. :) over a year ago

In the finale synopsis, it says that Jeremy is desperate to protect Elena and he makes a decision that changes everything. I think that Jeremy is going to have Stefan compel Elena to forget all about vampires, including Stefan himself, Damon, Klaus, Elijah, etc, basically forget about all vampires. I don't think Elena will call Stefan for help then choose Damon.Damon looks really sad in a picture and he's on the phone so it might be Elena telling him she wants Stefan and i think he's going to kiss her. But i know it looks like he's compelling her.. But like i said why would she ask Stefan to come back to home and not Damon he's in the same place where is was with Rebecca was.So i think she's choose Stefan? over a year ago
