The Celtics have swept the Knicks, and have moved on to the second round. It has not yet been decided as of today, April 24th whether or not the Celtics will be playing the Heat in the second round. Shaq did not play once again today. Posted over a year ago

Well the Celtics came up with a big victory Friday night as they crushed the Knicks in a 113-96 victory and also now have a 3-0 series lead. Rondo had a triple-double, Allen scored 32 points, and Pierce scored 38 points. On Sunday the Celtics will look for the sweep as they face off against the Knicks in game 4 at 3:30pm (ET). The Celtics are leading the series against the Knicks 2-0 after they defeated the Knicks again by executing in the last minutes of the game. If they win tonight they would have a 3-0 series lead, keep in mind that no team has ever come back from a 3-0 series deficit to win that series. The final score was 85-82, Rondo got a triple-double, and Paul Pierce was 0-10 field goals with only 1 point on a free throw. The Celtics' next game is Wednesday, February 16, 2011 vs. the Nets.
