I'm so very much in love with 'Treme'. This is David Simon's love letter to the soulful people of New Orleans jammed packed with true stories mixed with fiction set in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. It's equal parts drama, comedy and a history lesson all in one about one of my favorite cities on earth. Fantastic music by real life musicians playing themselves (like Kermit Ruffins and Elvis Costello to name just a few) doesn't hurt either. Posted over a year ago
