I have this problem..you see i LOVE writing, but i always lose intrest after the first few chapters and end up deleting it.also,it always takes me FOREVER to write just one chapter.any suggestions for inspiration or an easier way to manage? Posted over a year ago

Hmm, how about writing a short story instead of a novel. Visual the ending of your story so you know where your headed. I usually lose interest after several chapters too. Sometimes I get lost in the story and I have to go back and reread the beginning to reconnect with the motives/conflicts of the characters. I'm still working on it though, so it might take awhile until you get a grasp on it. P.S. don't delete your stories. You might come across them at a later date and have a resurgence of creativity. over a year ago

i agree. writing short stories also allows you to practice your writing and you are still writing a story. i prefer writing short stories over novels because it keeps me more interested. and if im not interested, then i know the reader wont be either. hope i helped. happy writing! over a year ago
