thanx for this, but converting videos is not the problem...the problem is that once it's in the iTunes library, when I click on the iPod sync/apply nothing happens! it's worked before because i have other videos on there...could something be wrong with my iPod?!? Posted over a year ago

Thats strange. Mine did that when I first managed to get the videos onto itunes, but I found I had converted it to the wrong format of ipod. I had converted to touch screen ipod not classic ipod. It would still play on itunes, but not sync onto my ipod for that reason. Once I formatted it to the right ipod format, it worked. over a year ago

I've tried several different formats from several different converters, same as you said - will play on iTunes but won't sync to iPod. Are you saying all mp4's are not created equal? over a year ago
