Hey sweetie ^^ You have to click below your photo on "view more photos", then in the blue bar where it says "My Gallery" there's a little plus saying "upload new photo". Click on it and go ahead :) Then when it's uploaded it will appear in your gallery, too. Below the photo will then be a little cross to delete the photo, a pen to edit the photo and a dude with a blue shirt. Click on that dude and you can use the pic as your icon ^^
