Update on the kidneys! My appointment is this month on the 21st (I think?) I have way too many doctor appointments this month! *Ack!*
But wish me luck! I am not looking forward to this! 😟😨

I'm stressing out because I'm thinking about the next classes I want to take for the spring semester and know that if I wanted to complete my degree, I have to take math. And English. Both subjects I hate, but I literally have a math learning disability and it's impossible for me to do anything above addition and subtraction. This is too stressful!

In other, more fun news, I am finally going to a baseball game this season! I haven't been in a few years so I'm really excited!

I'm leaving soon, but I'm exhausted! Only got like 6 hours of sleep and I can barely function on 10! We'll only be staying a couple hours and then I will be coming home to nap! What are you ladies up to this weekend?

Wow, I just checked and my history teacher has rated my discussion board post for last week, and he wants us to add citations to the comments we make to other users. Is that normal? Of course I have never been to college, and last time I was in school was over a decade ago. Seems a bit much IMO.

Here was my view of the game! It was a nice day, not too hot but it could have been cooler. We had to walk a long way and the stadium doesn't have enough escalators (only going one way) or elevators so we had to climb 4 flights of stairs. Walking back to the car was brutal and my hip got in a bad way, so my bf had to go pick up the car for me. I still don't regret it though, but I really need to get a handicap tag. I was so exhausted and sore when I got home, I took a muscle relaxer and passed out!

I had some Dippin' Dots ice cream which I love! Have y'all ever had any or heard of it?

This bobblehead is the reason I wanted to go to the game. It's of my favorite Brewers player, Ryan Braun. They give them away free to the first 35k people. I'm so glad I got one!

So today I woke up and vomited like 3 times, which is really strange and highly unusual. I don't know if it was from being sore from all the walking yesterday, or sun exposure, or what. I have a cold Pepsi so I'm feeling better now lol

We've got a "dangerous thunderstorm" headed our way this afternoon. I hope to hear lots of thunder!

I'm going to try to start my first time (properly, and in order!) viewing the original Law & Order. I started this a couple years ago when I first got this set, but I got distracted by other things. I've been in a L&O mood lately so I'm hoping it sticks this time. Wish me luck! There's only some 400+ episodes!

So without going into too much personal detail, I am on some medication and it's really making me not interested in much. I rarely watch TV now, or listen to music, and I have to force myself to read or I wouldn't even do that. It's difficult for me to focus on my school work too, which really worries me. I need the medicine, so I'm not going to stop it. I guess I'm just sort of talking my situation out. I get bored easily, and I don't even feel like contributing on Fanpop. I think I need some inspiration, any ideas ladies?

Update on the kidney thing: My appointment is on 9/16/21 (yay.) but yesterday I went to my new psychiatrist (my old one is retiring, bless his heart) and she's seen my blood work and knows what's going on and knows that I've been on a medication since I was 13 and over time it can affect kidneys if taken too long. And my old doctor was considering a new medicine to replace this one anyway so this may be nothing then just a medicine change! We'll see, though but *fingers crossed* One can hope, right?

I've got a history test coming up and a paper due in the next coming weeks! I looked at the test review and I think I might be able to do well on it because I have already taken a ton of physical notes (they help me to retain information better) on the topics he asks us about. I'm still nervous because I don't test well...and we have a paper due on a specific topic, but I'm not familiar with any of the pre-determined topics.

Tomorrow I see the kidney specialist. Is it okay if I say I more annoyed than scared? Like a regular visit with my doctor before this would've been nice but oh, no! Why do that?
Honestly, I have nothing to say to this woman other than 'I don't why I'm there and I'm not experiencing symptoms.' *shrugs* I am not looking forward to this.*rant done, sorry. 😳

Good news: Me and the kidney specialist think alike! She thinks it is a medicine but that ibuprofen is more than likely the culprit behind my kidney issues. (Which was my second guess, my dentist had me taking it so I totally blame him!) So no more ibuprofen, really bad for kidneys!
Bad news: I have to go back for bloodwork and a ultrasound to confirm it. Yuck! 😝🙄
*sighs* Medical tests, story of my life! *lol*

I want to apologize if I seemed off these past few days. The nasal spray my new allergist gave me interacted with my meds BADLY! My psychiatrist (god, love him!) informed me that my meds and stimulants don't mix. No kidding! XD But I'm better now! 😁

I just took my first college test online and I'm unsure if my answers saved and went through. Unfortunately we are only allowed one attempt, for obvious reasons, but I hope it's okay! Fingers crossed everyone! 🤞🤞

In other news, I think we are finally getting to the BRR part of these '-ber' months! it's under 60 here today and the wind is really going crazy out! How's the weather where you are?

Has anybody seen this new game show? It's called Alter Ego. It's where people with really low self esteems but great singing voices appear on a singing competition as an alter ego (And pretending to be someone else is always a great confidence builder! *said no one ever!*)
It's kind of like Susan Boyle meets the Sims, I guess? Um... thoughts?

Oh, before I forget, my ultra sound and blood work (and whatever else they want me to do! *lol*) with the kidney specialist is on Sept 30 and then I go back for another visit (follow up, I guess?) on Oct 8 and hopefully, HOPEFULLY, things will improve and I'll be done with this. Wish me luck!
